Berthoud Boy Scout Troop 6

 

 

WHO WE ARE

 

·         Troop 6 was first chartered in 1982 and is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church in Berthoud, CO.

·         Troop 6 currently has an enrollment of 49 scouts, ranging in ages from 10 to 18 years old, and 43 adult leaders.

·         Scout driven meetings are supervised by adults, giving Scouts the opportunity to lead and make decisions.

 

 

ACTIVITIES

·         At least one activity planned each month.

·         Summer Camp.

·         Fulford Cave spelunking.

·         Pawnee Grassland hiking, archery, and camping.

·         Klondike — winter camp.

·         JOTA (Jamboree on the Air)

·         Venture program for older Scouts.

·         “Berthoud Days” annual pancake breakfast fundraiser.

·         Highway clean up with planned activities afterwards.

 

 

WHY WE ARE UNIQUE

·         Low annual dues currently $45.

·         Scouts keep percentage of popcorn sale earnings to be used for their Scout expenses.

·         Many Merit Badge Counselors within the Troop.

·         Encourage, with great success, every Scout to become an Eagle Scout.

·         We own our own camping equipment and trailer.

·         Guaranteed lots of FUN!
